IN DEALING WITH GOVERNMENT OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS; i noticed a serious flaw within the system; as quite often auntie janie and/or uncle frankie from down the street are on the city councils and/or planning commisions; making sometimes very important environmental (etc) decisions without any real knowledge of how to do such a thing correctly -- and this more often than not puts invaluable and/or irreplaceable wildlife habitat (etc) at risk -- without several layers of protection from the federal government on down; there would be no checks and balances -- but when the federal, state and county governments are all bought out by the exact same corporate interests during their elections as well; they too are literally nonexistent in their environmental enforcement efforts...
